Workshop Mechanic

As a workshop mechanic, you will be responsible for keeping the workshop running smoothly and ensuring that the machines remain in good working order. Your tasks will include: Repairing and preparing used machinery for the rebar industry. Loading and unloading machines and accessories using a forklift. A valid forklift licence is required. General maintenance and keeping the workshop clean and organised. The workshop has an attached office, so you will have colleagues around you, and we have lunch together. The workshop offers modern facilities, including a laser cleaner for removing rust and dirt. We place a strong emphasis on safe and professional working practices. You will typically be the only mechanic working in the workshop on a daily basis, so you must be able to plan and carry out your tasks independently.
